Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the FAU Libraries! The 2020 Hispanic Heritage Month theme is “Hispanics: Be Proud of Your Past, Embrace the Future.” The theme invites all of us to take pride in the accomplishments of Hispanic/Latinxs and reflect on how Latinx contributions have enriched our daily lives and can lead us forward into a more inclusive future.

Welcome back Owls! Please join the FAU Libraries in celebrating our most recent FAU faculty authors. New titles include subjects such as: Middle Eastern Studies, Social Science and Psychology, Gender Studies, Nursing, and Plato. 

PBSC students, faculty, and staff will need to request access to the Wimberly Library and authorization to check out materials.  All requests will take 1 business day to be confirmed.

The FAU Libraries' Interlibrary Loan Department has expanded its services again! For the first time since closing due to the COVID-19, the FAU community can request physical material from our continental US library partners. 

Due to the ongoing global pandemic, our stacks are currently closed to patrons. However, we are still committed to serving you with energy and creativity. This semester, we are introducing a new contactless way to deliver your books. 

Due to COVID -19, the FAU Libraries are not able to provide physical Course Reserves at this time.  Faculty can still submit requests for electronic materials.

Join us in celebrating our FAU faculty authors. This month’s list includes electronic and print titles on subjects related to: Chemistry, Remote Sensing, Anthropology, Nursing, Criminology, Educational Leadership, and even James Bond (to name a few).

When Florida Atlantic University transitioned to remote learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the FAU Libraries partnered with FAU’s Office of Financial Aid to assist students in need of access to educational materials and did not have a capable laptop.  

The FAU Libraries repurposed 100 laptops for long-term loan to students, enabling them to continue with their college education without missing a beat. 

We encourage you to hold on to your library books while library buildings are closed.  Book drops are available. 

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the FAU Libraries are still closed. However, our librarians are available to provide expert assistance and offer research help. Our newest service enhancement allows patrons to directly chat with a librarian from our website.
