The Jaffe Center for Book Arts just announced its 2019 Artist in Residence! Keri Miki-Lani Schroeder, a book artist based in Texas, will be joining the JCBA staff this year. Follow the link to learn more about The Helen M. Salzberg Artist in Residence Program, and this year's artist!

It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that Dr. William Miller, former Dean of the Florida Atlantic University Libraries, has passed away. Dr. Miller was the dean for 27 years, and started his career at the Wimberly Library in 1987.

Florida Atlantic University officially announced a $1 million gift from Rubin and Cindy Gruber to establish The Rubin and Cindy Gruber Sandbox and to support student scholarships through their endowment. 

"The Rubin and Cindy Gruber Sandbox represents the jewel in the crown of our evolving vision of the modern academic library, an ongoing transformation of library spaces and services to meet the needs of today’s students,” said Carol Hixson, Dean of the University Libraries.

The FAU Libraries' award committee selected Michael Dillow, a graduate student working on his Masters of Fine Art in Photograph, to receive the Irvin and Beulah Jaffe Robins Scholarship.
