Jupiter Art Lounge

The John D. MacArthur Campus Library launches a new art program that has an interactive lounge, and features film and video projects produced by international artists.

 

We are looking for FAU students, faculty and staff to volunteer to be “books” for our Human Library event on April 4th! 

 

The moment you’ve been waiting for is here! The Wimberly Library will start its 24/5 trial period on February 11th. 

 

Gaelynn Lea

John Cutrone, Director of the Jaffe Center for Book Arts, shares in his words why the Gaelynn Lea: Talk & Concert will be a really special event at the Wimberly Library on February 5th! "She’s fun and funky, goofy and cool," said Cutrone. "If you can come see her, you’ll leave with a full and open heart and some new ways of looking at things." 

 

4th Floor

The fourth floor of the Wimberly Library is officially open after renovations were completed over winter break!

 

50th Anniversary

The FAU Libraries have just received a certificate from the Florida Department of State commemorating our 50th Anniversary as a depository library for publications of the State Government of Florida.

 

We are pleased to announce that the Wimberly Library recently renovated four restrooms to make them ADA accessible. 

 

Students

Kristy Padron, Instruction Coordinator and Assistant University Librarian, helped freshman-level students use library resources for research projects that were presented in a poster symposium this week.

 

We are happy to announce that the Wimberly Library is going to be open 24 hours, five days a week starting in January 2019 on a trial basis.
