Reading the Leaves | Celebration of America 250

Join Florida Atlantic Libraries Special Collections for an elegant afternoon of tea, history, and conversation as we celebrate the upcoming anniversary of America's founding. Reading the Leaves: An Afternoon of Tea & History kicks off the America 250 Festival, a year-long series of programs and exhibitions presented by Florida Atlantic Libraries in collaboration with the College of Arts and Letters throughout 2026.

 

Festival for America’s 1776 – 2026

The Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts & Letters and the FAU Libraries have planned an exciting program of events celebrating America's 250th anniversary. The festival centers around an exhibition, American Revolution: Celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the U.S.

 

Access Update: Transition to OpenAthens

The Florida Atlantic Libraries are updating how users access online books, journals, and databases. The transition from EZproxy to OpenAthens will be completed by September 30, 2025, and should not affect access for most users. If you have any questions or encounter issues during or after the transition, please contact our Libraries' Collection Management Unit.
