Because we know that many faculty are concerned about their ability to carry out their research, we in the Libraries have worked out some extra assistance for faculty.
As of 5 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, all FAU libraries (in Boca Raton, Jupiter, and HBOI) will be closing to the public, but we will continue to be a resource for the FAU community.

Greetings, all! March 2-6 marks international Open Education Week, and FAU Libraries welcomes you to engage with us as we continue to strive for openness in knowledge creation and sharing.
Now open is the FAU Libraries’ spring exhibit called “Pamphleteers of the American Revolution.” This unique exhibit uses items from the Marvin and Sybil Weiner Spirit of America Collection to highlight the writings of brave men and women in the original thirteen colonies who spoke out against the tyrannical King George III of Great Britain. Leah Plocharczyk, interim director of Florida Atlantic University’s John D. MacArthur Library, is a winner of this year’s I Love My Librarian Award. Recognized for her leadership in her community and commitment to transforming lives, she is one of only 10 librarians in the country to receive this national honor.
