Wimberly PAWS FAU LIbraries

We know that finals week can be extremely stressful, so we invited K9 Vallie to stop by the libraries for a quick therapy session. Come to the Wimberly Lobby on December 7, at 11 am, to pet Vallie and enjoy a stress-relief coloring table. FAU PD and Owls Care will share information about the campus mental health resources and tips on dealing with stress and anxiety.

 

Native American Heritage Month 2022, FAU Libraries

Florida Atlantic University’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters and the S. E. Wimberly Library recently celebrated the announcement of significant estate gift commitments from longtime FAU benefactors Howard Weiner, M.D. and Judith Weiner. Their generosity will enhance support to the existing Howard and Judith Weiner Spirit of America Endowed Advancement Fund and will establish two new endowed funds.

 

See the original comics that inspired the new Netflix movie “Slumberland” at the FAU Libraries’ Jaffe Center for Book Arts. Two limited edition books with “Little Nemo in Slumberland” comics by Winsor McCay will be on display until December 18.

FAU Libraries and Open Access Week Logos

It is dedicated to promoting Open Access and the various ways students, scholars, and educators utilize it for teaching, learning, and research.
