FAU Libraries have been awarded Technology Fee funds for a three-year subscription to the program from July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2025. Tech Fees are a part of the Student Tuition fees. Students can use the platform to improve core academic skills, score higher on college placement tests, explore careers, prepare for occupational exams or build workplace skills.

PrepSTEP offers multiple resources, from math and science courses, core computer skills, and English to test preparation materials for the GRE, CLEP, TEOFL, LSAT, and MCAT. Other areas of focus include college success skills, time and debt management, academic research, and goal-setting. The platform contains practice tests, tutorials, e-books, articles, and flashcards. It is compatible with Blackboard, Canvas, and Brightspace.

To access PrepSTEP, search for it in A-Z databases on the FAU Libraries website, then log in with FAU credentials to use it.
