The International Open Access Week, observed from October 24 to 30, is dedicated to promoting Open Access and the various ways students, scholars, and educators utilize it for their teaching, learning, and research. Learn more about Open Access by attending these FAU Libraries webinars.

 

FAU Libraries Two-Sentence Scary Story Contest flyer

Can you tell a scary tale in just two sentences? We invite all the spooky storytellers to participate in our Two-Sentence Scary Story Contest for a chance to win the wireless Beats Studio Buds. All stories must be submitted before noon on October 31. One spooky submission per person. The judges will choose the scariest tale and announce the winner at the Wimberly Spooktacular Halloween, on Monday, October 31, at 2 pm, on Instagram Live.

Celebrate All Hallows' Eve at Wimberly Library on October 31 from 11 AM to 2 PM.
Stop by the lobby for trick-o-treating, meet the scary librarians, win prizes for best costumes, and enjoy spooky crafts.

Scholars from across the U.S. are visiting FAU Libraries to conduct research in the Marvin and Sybil Weiner Spirit of America Collection.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. In support of that, the FAU Libraries highlight some of the library resources that can help educate our community about domestic violence.
