The Office of Provost and FAU Libraries celebrate the creative, distinguished, and dedicated work of the FAU community. FAU faculty and students are invited to submit their work published during the previous school year (July 2021 - June 2022) before January 11, 2023. 

Drop off textbooks used in the past year and any unused lab books at the front desk of Wimberly Library on December 9 - 14 and receive complimentary Encourage Mints.

Wimberly Library will be closed for public safety training on December 21 from 7:30 to 11 a.m. During the training, there might be an increased presence of police in and around the library. Please be advised there is no threat to the area. The 24/7 Study Lounge adjacent to the main library in the Hillel building will be open and available. Online resources and Ask the Librarian service will be available during that time, and the library will open for normal operation at 11 a.m.  

As we head into final exams, FAU Libraries are gearing up for some late nights and long study sessions. Follow the link to see the final exam hours. 

We are excited to announce the opportunity to hire multiple positions across several library departments to strengthen student, faculty, and community engagement and to prepare the FAU Libraries for their crucial role in the University’s pursuit as a R1 institution.

We know that finals week can be extremely stressful, so we invited K9 Vallie to stop by the libraries for a quick therapy session. Come to the Wimberly Lobby on December 7, at 11 am, to pet Vallie and enjoy a stress-relief coloring table. FAU PD and Owls Care will share information about the campus mental health resources and tips on dealing with stress and anxiety.

FAU Libraries celebrate National Native American, American Indian, and Alaskan Native Heritage Month with a Pop-Up Library of resources and gems from our collections.
