Boca Helping Hands Logo

FAU Libraries Community Service Day at Boca Helping Hands was a resounding success. Thirteen library employees joined the nonprofit staff on March 9 in preparing food packages to be distributed across Central and South Palm Beach County to families in need. 

 

New Exhibit Alert. Between the Waves: Finding Ocean Curiosities

Wimberly Library presents a new exhibit, “Between the Waves: Finding Ocean Curiosities.” Located on the Fifth Floor, the exhibition is on display until May 11 and open Tuesday to Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by the exhibit to browse an eclectic collection of shells, shark teeth, sea glass, and rare books from the Marvin & Sybil Weiner collection and artist books from Jaffe Center for Books Arts.

It is an internationally recognized time with the goals of improving the quality, accessibility, and affordability of education by facilitating and encouraging open education practices. Women's History Month Pop-Up Library

In honor of Women's History Month, the FAU Libraries created a pop-up library of resources dedicated to women's achievements and contributions to society. This special collection features books, journals, and multimedia materials that highlight the history, experiences, and perspectives of women from around the world. The pop-up library is designed to provide easy access to these important resources and promote awareness and understanding of women's issues and struggles.
