What: Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) is the standard classification of mental disorders used by mental health professionals in the United States and contains a listing of diagnostic criteria for every psychiatric disorder recognized by the U.S. healthcare system.

What: As the libraries switch to Primo/Alma and OpenAthens, you may encounter error messages. Some may be related to the resource itself and others can be solved with a few troubleshooting steps. The medical library has a troubleshooting page that has some steps you can attempt to take before reaching out to a librarian.

What: The FAU Medical Librarians provide both collaboration and consultation services for meta-analysis, systematic review, scoping review, and literature review to the students, faculty, and staff of the FAU Schmidt College of Medicine. Please complete the Request form if you would like one of the FAU Medical Librarians to collaborate or consult with you on a review.

Timeline: Once the form is complete, please allow 1-3 business days for a response from a librarian. Completion of Evidence Synthesis Services vary and are determined on a case-by-case basis. Currently co-author level requests have an average turn around time of 4 weeks which is subject to lengthen based on volume of requests and librarian availability. Collaboration level requests will be coordinated with individual schedules.
