Medical Library Resources

What: All journals offered electronically within the FAU holdings are available by searching the Primo platform. Articles in a journal not included in the FAU collection can be requested through Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

How:

  • If not prompted after clicking on the "Find it@FAU" button, manually requests for material not in the collection can be placed through the ILL log-in portal on their website: ILL Homepage. Please allow 1-2 days for articles, with hard to find or international material taking longer to fill. Notices of arrivals/cancellations are sent to your FAU email. 

What: The A-Z list contains all databases in the FAU library's collection. 

Where: Access via browser.

How: Use the all databases link to search the entire collection at once for a database. Use the "all subjects" dropdown to narrow to "medical, nursing. & Health Sciences" to browse. 

What: A search tool in which you can perform a combined search of all FAU Libraries' electronic and print resources.

What: An integrated online resource that provides medical students, surgical residents, and practicing pediatricians with a broad range of content that covers the entire span of pediatric practice, from neonatology through adolescent medicine. Access Pediatrics includes more than 20 e-books, drug monographs, and images useable in academic lectures and presentations.
