FAU Libraries Scavenger Hunt

Join the University Libraries Amazing Race, explore the Library, win amazing prizes, and learn how we can help you be successful in school this year.

Interlibrary Loan Update

FAU students, faculty, and staff are now able to log into their Interlibrary Loan Accounts with their FAUNet ID and password. This improves security and means one less password that you need to remember!

textbooks

College textbooks are expensive. FAU Faculty, you can make a difference! Donate your current textbooks to the University Libraries Textbook Reserves collection. For faculty or instructors who prefer to loan their textbooks for a semester, see Faculty Guidelines for FAU Course Reserves to place textbooks and other course materials on Course Reserves. A single textbook available via the Library Textbook Reserves means up to 150 students can access it during the semester.

Get one last read in before the summer is over! Can't pick a book? Let us surprise you!
In a summer edition of our wildly popular Blind Date with a Book, the University Libraries are bringing you the Wrapping Up Summer book display with the latest titles. Stop by the Wimberly Library Lobby starting on Thursday, August 10, at 10 a.m. Read the clues, pick a book, and take it to the service desk to check out. No peeking! Only unwrap the book once it is checked out.

As part of the library’s Special Collections, the exhibit showcases the mascot’s evolution over the years, from a “wise old owl” in academic regalia to the athletic Owlsley of the 2000s.
