News and Announcements

The FAU Libraries have released multiple new webinars in order to continue to provide expert assistance to support teaching, learning, and research while our buildings are closed and we are working remotely. Our Instruction and Engagement Department has put together a YouTube playlist with our most popular webinars

As we get feedback on our plan for reopening the FAU Libraries’ physical facilities, we will share information widely with our students, faculty, and staff, as well as with the local community. We will need your input, your support, and your patience as we move forward.

We have expanded our curbside delivery service for students, in addition to faculty.  Requests to borrow materials from the Wimberly Library can be made online and scheduled to be picked up outside the library.

June is Pride Month, where LGBTQ+ members celebrate the freedom to be themselves! Below we have some videos, books and other resources from our collection that showcase the LGTBQ+ communities' history and provide more information in general. To access any of the following Ebooks or videos, simply login with Off Campus Connect!

New Books in June

This month we are showcasing some of our faculty’s newest additions to the FAU Libraries’ electronic book collection. The titles are diverse and range from topics that include: psychology, education, political science, medicine, nursing, and engineering to name a few.

At Home with the FAU Libraries

At this time our library facilities remain closed due to COVID-19. However, FAU Libraries' faculty and staff are working remotely to support virtual teaching, learning, and research. While we can't give you full access to our renowned library collections in person, we still wanted to be able to show off items virtually that have history and importance. That's why we've asked library faculty and staff to share pieces of their personal collections and explain the meaning behind the object.

Book Returns and Due Dates

We encourage you to hold on to your library books while library buildings are closed.  Book drops are available.
