The FAU Libraries have released multiple new webinars in order to continue to provide expert assistance to support teaching, learning, and research while our buildings are closed and we are working remotely. Our Research and Instructional Department has put together a YouTube playlist with our most popular webinars such as Library Research 101 and APA 7th Edition Boot Camp.
We are also continuing to update our YouTube page monthly with our "on-demand" tutorial videos. Here is the schedule:
- June 19- Locating and Evaluating Articles, E-Books and Streaming Videos
- June 19- Web of Science
- July 1- Altmetrics (Scholarly Communication Services)
- July 8- ProQuest Congressional
To access our tutorials, all you have to do is search for the FAU Libraries on YouTube and click the playlist "Library Webinar and Workshop Recordings." The videos range from 15 to 40 minutes.
We are also offering virtual workshops for classes by request. Faculty and students may request a workshop for 5 or more attendees. Workshop topics may include APA Boot Camp, business sources, fake news, government documents, or other topics. Make a request by emailing lyilis@fau.edu or calling (561) 297-3785.
