Subtitle
Enhancing Biomedical Library Services through Collaboration and Resource Sharing

Florida Atlantic University Libraries are pleased to announce their acceptance into the Consortium of Southern Biomedical Libraries (CONBLS), serving Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

The consortium was formed in South Carolina in 1982 to exchange information, share resources, and participate in cooperative programs to enhance library services for its members.

As a member of CONBLS, University Libraries will have access to a union list of serials, participate in reciprocal interlibrary loan activity, and benefit from continuing education opportunities. In addition, University Libraries will have the opportunity to collaborate with other member institutions in joint applications for private and government funds and strengthen existing resources through resource sharing.

Being a part of CONBLS provides University Libraries with a unique opportunity to collaborate with other libraries in the region, share expertise and resources, and enhance the quality of services provided to their users.
