ILL Office has temporarily moved

The ILL office has temporarily moved out of their 2nd floor office due to the ongoing construction at the S.E. Wimberly Library. All patron services will continue as normal, however staff will not have access to the ILL office phones. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us by email at lyill@fau.edu. We are also happy to come down to speak to you at the front desk.

The Interlibrary Loan Department is here to support your research and teaching needs by expanding the range of materials available for scholarship beyond the collections of the FAU Libraries.

Copyright Restrictions

Seal of the US Copyright Office

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.

This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a copying order or place an item on Reserve if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order or request would involve violation of copyright law.
