FAU Libraries’ Digital Library gets a Makeover with Added Functionality

We are proud to announce the FAU Libraries launched a new interface for our Digital Library, which is home to our Research Repository and Digital Collections.

The sleek new design makes it easier for the campus community to navigate the 40 digital collections as well as the research conducted by FAU faculty, staff, and students.

Under the Digital Collections portion of the site, patrons can search through more than 80,000 files of rare manuscripts, children's literature in Yiddish, sheet music, archival photographs, and oral histories.

In addition, there is the Research Repository, which has more than 19,000 files of theses and dissertations, faculty publications, student research, and more.

The FAU Digital Library supports open access with nearly all collections made available to the public. Open Access is important because it stimulates creativity and scholarly research here at the university and beyond.

This is an exciting project for the libraries because we get to digitally feature our extraordinary collections, and the scholarship, research, and creative works of campus faculty, students, and staff.
