The FAU Libraries serve 30,000 students in Boca Raton, Jupiter, Harbor Branch, Fort Lauderdale, and Davie. We strive to be a collaborative space where students, faculty, and staff can study, learn, conduct research, and connect with like-minded individuals. The Libraries are also open to the broader community and offer events and resources for South Florida residents.
FAU Libraries include the flagship S. E. Wimberly Library on the Boca Raton campus, with close to 4 million items in its collections. It is home to Rubin & Cindy Gruber Sandbox, one of the only artificial intelligence labs in American academic libraries; Jaffe Center for Books Arts, Recorded Sound Archives, and Marvin and Sybil Weiner Spirit of America Collection of manuscripts and pamphlets dating back to the 16th century.
A significant resource for the success of our students and faculty, the FAU Libraries have been challenged to keep up with the ever-increasing costs of electronic resources and growing demand for advanced technologies, study spaces, and facilities to house our extensive collections.
We want to change that with your help. Our goal is to ensure the academic success of the FAU community by becoming a center of collaboration on campus that provides a variety of technology rich spaces, inspires student scholarship and outstanding collections.
We hope you will consider showing your pride and appreciation for the FAU Libraries with a gift on Giving Tuesday. Every donation, regardless of the amount, helps provide a better learning environment for our talented students and supports our gifted faculty in their research.
We thank you for your generous support of the FAU Libraries on this Giving Tuesday. Learn more and donate here.
