Dr. Linda Marie Golian-Lui, the esteemed Dean of Libraries at Florida Atlantic University, was recently spotlighted by the Florida Atlantic Alumni Association in a video that highlights her leadership and vision for academic libraries. A proud double alumna, Dr. Golian-Lui received an Ed.D. and an Ed.S. from FAU, as well as a master’s degree from Florida State University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami.
In the video, Dr. Golian-Lui shares her story and discusses the vital role that libraries play in academic success. Her commitment to providing students with access to innovative spaces and resources has helped shape the library system at Florida Atlantic University into one that is dynamic and inclusive.
In addition to the spotlight, Dr. Golian-Lui was recently inducted into the Tri-Alpha First Generation Honors Society and served as a keynote speaker at their annual event. She was also reaffirmed as a distinguished member of the Phi Kappa Phi honor society, recognizing her outstanding academic achievements and contributions to scholarship.
