Collection Development Policy:
Reference Collection

The Reference Collection at the S.E. Wimberly Library is a non-circulating collection of resources designed to support the basic research and information needs of the University community in all subject fields. Reference resources of all types (including electronic products) are selected in accordance with the criteria established for the selection of library materials.  (Read the full policy.)

Instruction Services Policies for Affiliated Users

Instruction Services Policies for Non-Affiliated Users

Non-affiliated users of the FAU Libraries include community residents, public and private school students, corporate and business personnel, and other professional individuals. Students and faculty from other colleges not included in the affiliate list are also included in this group. (Read the full policy.)

Instruction Studio Policy

The Instruction Studio is a library instruction space that has 35 computers. In addition, the space is WI-FI ready and has multiple tables for studying at the back of the room. This classroom was designed for library staff to teach classes and other groups how to access the library's proprietary databases and other online resources effectively. (Read the full policy.)

Literature Search and Literature Review Policy 

Library faculty in the Research and Instructional Services Department also may provide specialized support for the University’s research and teaching endeavors by conducting literature searches and/or comprehensive literature reviews for faculty at the Boca Raton campus. (Read the full policy.)
