Women's History Month

The National Women’s History Alliance has designated the 2022 theme for Women's History Month, "Women Providing Healing, Promoting Hope." This theme is "both a tribute to the ceaseless work of caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history." Visit the FAU Libraries curated a list of resources by local and global women that include: Poetry, Essays, Art, books, videos, and more.

Fair Use Week is February 21 – 25, 2022.  The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) designated this time to highlight and promote what fair use allows us to do with copyrighted works.

 

You know the library has Black History Month books. Did you know that we also have a Recorded Sound Archives Jazz Collection, government documents, primary sources, subject databases, streaming media, sheet music, and original fine art?

Zine Contest

Navigating 2020/2021 was a challenge for us all. Tell us what it was like for you by making a zine for the Libraries' Jaffe Center for Book Arts Zine Maker Contest. There's a $300 Grand Prize!

 

Meet with robotics enthusiasts in a new learning community and share your experiences with other learners.  This weekly robotics meetup occurs every Monday evening in the Rubin & Cindy Gruber Sandbox.

 

New, extended hours for the remainder of the spring 2021 semester to better serve the Jupiter campus faculty, staff, and students. 

 

Scholarly Communication Services (SCS) provide support to all FAU campuses by addressing the wide range of issues related to creating, evaluating, disseminating, and preserving the outputs of research and scholarship.  Make plans to join us this semester for one of our workshops.
