New Library Exhibit. Documents of Democracy: Finding a New Nation

Interested in history? Want to celebrate Constitution Day? Stop by the Documents of Democracy: Finding a New Nation exhibit on the fifth floor of Wimberly Library, courtesy of Weiner Spirit of America Collection. All of the collection's highlights are on display: the Declaration of Independence, one of the seven 1776 copies of Common Sense, Articles of Confederation, first edition, and the first printing of Federalist Papers.

Letterpress Appreciation Day and Constitution Day

Constitution Day falls each year on September 17, and Letterpress Appreciation Day follows on the 18th. Come celebrate both this year at the Jaffe Center for Book Arts as we honor the First Amendment and the Freedom of the Press.

Join us on Sunday, September 17 & Monday, September 18, from noon to 4 p.m.

Print a poster by hand on the 1890 Wesel Iron Handpress, get a free photo from a vintage Paper Moon Photobooth, and explore a Mini Makers Marketplace.
