Florida Atlantic Authors & Artists, Submit Your Work for Recognition by January 22, 2024

The Office of Provost and University Libraries celebrate the creative, distinguished, and dedicated work of the Florida Atlantic University community. Florida Atlantic faculty and staff are invited to submit their work published during the previous school year (July 2022 - June 2023). Qualifying works include book authors and co-authors (print & electronic), editors and co-editors who have written some part of the book, artists who published or produced creative work, musical compositions, theatrical productions, art and photography, audio and video recordings, journal articles, and conference proceedings.

JAFFE Holiday Card Social

Bring your cards, bring your stamps, and let's get those holiday cards in the mail! We'll be gathering in the Jaffe Book Arts Gallery for a special in-house Real Mail Fridays session devoted just to midwinter holiday cards on Tuesday December 12. Bring your Christmas cards, bring your Chanukah cards (Chanukah continues to December 15!), bring your Kwanzaa cards and Yule cards and New Year cards, and don't forget your postage stamps, too. We'll supply the gathering spot and simple art supplies and a Very Jaffe Soundtrack of delightfully unusual music for the season.

University Libraries Winter Hours

As the end of the Fall 2023 semester approaches, the University Libraries are adjusting the operating hours to accommodate the needs of the Florida Atlantic community during finals week and intercession. The Libraries will be closed on Saturday, December 16, and Sunday, December 17 for the Intersession; and on Monday, December 18, for the staff training event. University Libraries will close for the Holidays from Saturday, December 23, to Tuesday, January 2. Regular hours will resume on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
