The FAU Libraries are adjusting hours and services to prepare for the Fall 2021 semester. After more than a year of operating with enhanced safety procedures, library facilities will continue toward a return to normalcy with the continued commitment to the health and safety of the FAU community.
Beginning on August 21, 2021, the FAU Libraries will be open the following hours:
SE Wimberly Library
Monday through Thursday: 7:40 AM-Midnight
Friday: 7:40 AM-6 PM
Saturday: 10:30 AM-6 PM
Sunday: Noon-Midnight
Jupiter Campus Library
Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 5 PM
HBOI Library
Monday - Friday 6:00 AM – 10 PM (with Owl Card)
Additional service updates:
- We now offer 2 video conference suites to allow students the ability to video conference with student service offices around campus. These suites can be checked out from the Service Desk.
- Coming Soon! Students will have the ability to check out portable charging pods from the Access Service Desk to charge portable devices. Students must provide their charging cord.
- We will only have a select number of study rooms available. These will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition to in-person services, we will continue to offer virtual services including remote librarian consultations, virtual office hours, electronic resource access, and other virtual remote services you can find on our Lib2Go page. The Ask a Librarian chat will continue to be accessible from the Libraries’ website.
