What should I know about a power outage in the building?

• During the first 10 minutes of a power outage, library staff will walk through each floor of the building with flashlights to see if anyone needs emergency assistance (see Emergency Evacuation Plan).
   
• After a 10 minute time frame, the library staff with flashlights will assist students and patrons in exiting the building.


• Dean of Libraries or Senior Officer Present (SOP) notifies the Provost's Office that the library building has been evacuated.
