Patricia Fiorillo serves as a Research and Instruction Librarian at Florida Atlantic University Libraries, where she also oversees the coordination of the liaison program and acts as a subject specialist liaison to multiple academic departments. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Anthropology from Florida Atlantic University, as well as a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Syracuse University. In her role, she collaborates closely with colleagues to develop and curate information resources that support the objectives of the liaison program and the Research and Instruction Services department.
Fiorillo demonstrates a steadfast commitment to the transformative potential of libraries through her active involvement in professional committees at the local, state, and national levels. Her areas of focus encompass library history, research and instruction methodologies, and community engagement strategies. Underpinning her service and scholarly pursuits is an unwavering belief that libraries possess the capacity to profoundly enhance lives, a conviction that resonates throughout her work.
