Maris Hayashi is Associate Dean for Collection Strategies and Discovery Services at Florida Atlantic University. She was previously Assistant Dean, Head of Collection Management, Collection Development Librarian, and Reference and Instruction Librarian. Currently, her portfolio includes Collection Management and Interlibrary Loan. Her pre-professional library experience includes serving as a graduate assistant at the former Information Arcade (University of Iowa Libraries), as the Evening Supervisor/Interlibrary Loan Coordinator at the Busse Library (Mount Mercy University), and as a Library Page for the L.A. County Public Library system.
