Lauri Rebar is a University Librarian and has been Instruction Coordinator for the Research and Instructional Services Department at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) S. E. Wimberly Library since 2020. She received her library science degree from the University of South Florida in 2008 and graduated with a master in education degree in instructional technology from Florida Atlantic University in 2019. Ms. Rebar is active in library instruction sessions from introductory lessons to more in-depth sessions for higher-level courses, plus specialized workshops. She also works with students and faculty one-on-one in face-to-face and online research consultations. Lauri serves as library liaison and subject specialist for the FAU Colleges of Nursing and Education. She is active in state, regional, and national organizations, and is currently a Board Member of Florida Association of College and Research Libraries. Ms. Rebar pursues collaboration through co-authoring articles and providing presentations with Florida Atlantic education faculty and instructional designers. Her interests in emerging technologies include information and digital literacy as well as artificial intelligence. She actively pursues professional development and enjoys sharing knowledge via committees, presentations, poster sessions, and webinars. Lauri works with new and established authors as co-editor of a peer-reviewed library journal, The Reference Librarian.
