Originally from San Diego, California, I bring a rich cultural background as Filipina, Hawaiian, German, and Irish. A lifelong learner and avid reader, I graduated with Honors (Magna Cum Laude) with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies - Social Sciences, focusing on History and Sociology. My academic journey reflects my dedication and resilience, having returned to school after a 17-year break to raise my child and settle in South Florida.

My professional path has been diverse, including roles in medical equipment technical support, preschool teaching, executive assistance, pet sitting, caregiving for a loved one with Lewy Body Dementia, and now as a Library Night Supervisor. Libraries and bookstores have always been my happy places, inspiring my passion for history, research, and fostering connections. Whether at work, with family, or surrounded by my pets, I strive to nurture curiosity, compassion, and community in all that I do.
