Biography
Andrea received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, she has earned her Master’s degree in Library and Information Science in 2018 from the University of South Florida. She currently serves as the Embedded Librarian for the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University.
Prior to joining Florida Atlantic University, Andrea served as the Liaison Librarian to both the College of Nursing and the Department of Occupational Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. In that role, she provided library instruction on database search skills to students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, she provided research assistance in the form of literature searches and collaboration on systematic and scoping reviews for faculty.
As the Embedded Librarian for Nursing for CEL CoN at FAU, Andrea is dedicated to providing library instruction and teaching research skills to students as well as providing research assistance to faculty.
