Anna Ayoung-Stoute is the Assistant Dean for Access, Research, and Learning Services at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). She provides overall vision, leadership, and management for FAU Libraries’ Public Services, which include Access Services, Research and Instructional Services, Medical Commons, Research Commons, and Broward Campuses Libraries’ Services. In this role, she collaborates with various library and campus departments to support the various service needs of the FAU community.
Before joining FAU, Anna served as the Director of Learning and Literacy at the University of Miami, where she also held the position of Head of Education and Outreach. During her time there, she oversaw the Digital Media Lab and co-facilitated the Faculty Learning Community, working closely with faculty on curriculum redesign and teaching initiatives.
A native of Montreal, Canada, Anna began her career in 2002 as a Liaison Librarian at McGill University’s Macdonald Campus Library. In 2006, she was promoted to Head Librarian, where she collaborated with faculty and students to enhance the library instruction program. In 2009, she moved to London, Ontario, to become the Head of Research and Instruction Services at the University of Western’s Allyn and Betty Taylor Library, focusing on research support and instructional services.
