How to login to OpenAthens using a Personal Account?

Note: This information is for OpenAthens "Personal Accounts" only. Active FAU students, faculty and Staff can login via Single Sign On.

Step 1

Visit  my.openathens.net and click on "Sign In"

Step 2

Sign in to OpenAthens using your personal account username and password

Step 3

Upon logging in, you will access the following page: 

Step 4

Now you can open up a new tab and navigate to your resource.

Once you are done, you can click "Sign out" or close the browser.
