We are proud to announce the FAU Libraries launched a new interface for our Digital Library, which is home to our Research Repository and Digital Collections.

 

In an effort to align with the university’s commitment to minimizing the cost of required or recommended textbooks or instructional materials to students, the libraries used a $75,000 technology fee award for ProQuest Ebook Central Platform.

Human library

We are looking for FAU students, faculty and staff to volunteer to be books for our Human Library-FAU Edition event on November 8th. Click here to find out more about the Human Library and what it means to volunteer! 

 

Located in the Alumni Alcove, our new Geographic Information Systems Corner has computers equipped with GIS software for all FAU students to use. 

 

KCJO Jewish Cultural Society Concert

The Florida Atlantic University Libraries and the FAU Jewish Cultural Society will host Aaron Kula’s nine-member Klezmer Company Jazz Orchestra (KCJO) for its annual concert of beloved Yiddish songs and traditional klezmer “freilachs and bulgars.”

 

FAU Libraries Textbook Reserve Program

We know how expensive textbooks can be. So, why buy them when you can borrow them from the library? That’s right. We have over 400 textbooks waiting to be checked out, and it doesn’t cost a thing! Click to find out more. 

 

This semester, the Wimberly Library opened up a space for its new Diversity Burrow. This is a collection of a few hundred books (some newly acquired and some pulled from the existing collection) whose purpose is to provide a quick, deep dive into the variety of perspectives and life experiences that are represented in our general collection.
