Is there a charge to park on campus?*

Yes. Unfortunately the campus does not offer any gratis parking. However FAU does offer the following options: 

Yellow guest passes can be purchased in advance at www.fau.edu/parking starting at $5 for a one-day pass, (price effective 1/1/2018). These yellow decals can also be purchased in person at the visitor booth that is located on the right side of the road just as you enter the FAU campus from the Glades road entrance on W University Drive. You may park in any Blue (student) lot with a Yellow permit. Do not park in a metered spot. 

Effective 1/1/2018, Meter Maids are $2/hour with no change given. From the parking website: "Visitors will now Pay by Plate. Pay by Plate takes three simple steps. Customers park, walk up to the nearest Pay by Plate machine, punch in their license plate number, and make their payment. This new technology will also allow parking enforcement officers to scan a license plate and immediately view their paid/unpaid status." 

Single space meters are $.05 for 3 minutes, $.10 for 6 minutes, and $.25 for 15 minutes.
