Calling all eco-conscious readers! In honor of Earth Day, the University Libraries have created a resource page featuring books and online resources dedicated to sustainability and environmental studies. With a wide range of titles available for browsing and borrowing, we invite you to join us in celebrating this important global event by exploring new ideas and gaining knowledge to better protect our planet.

 

Library Hours Adjusted for Finals Week and Intersession

As the end of the spring 2023 semester approaches, the FAU Libraries have adjusted our hours to accommodate the needs of the FAU community during finals week and intercession.

 

Take a Break and Read For Pleasure: Feel Good Books Display and Pop-Up Library

Need a good book to take a break from all the studying? Check out the Feel Good Book display, designed to help students reduce stress and prevent burnout at the end of the semester and during finals week. Click the link for e-books and the full list, and stop by the Library & Chill event on April 20 to see the print books display.

FAU Libraries Easter Hours

All FAU Libraries, including S.E. Wimberly Library and Jupiter Campus Library, will be closed on Sunday, April 9, in observance of Easter. Normal hours will resume on Monday, April 10. As always, our online services and resources are available 24/7 via the Lib2Go page. 

 

 

FAU Libraries Resources for It's On Us Week

See books and materials available in FAU Libraries collections that can help shift the way people think about sexual assault. Stopping sexual assault is the responsibility of all of us. Take the pledge to be part of the solution at itsonus.org. It’s On Us Week is a national campaign that strives to raise awareness about on-campus sexual assault across the nation through prevention, education, and programs. Florida Atlantic University hosts It’s On Us every year in April as part of National Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

 

Jaffe Center for Book Arts Spring Reception

You are cordially invited to join the FAU Libraries at the Jaffe Center for Book Arts Spring Reception and to view the current exhibit, "Our Human Frame: 100 Years of Baskin." This event is free to attend, with registration strongly encouraged.

Save the Date: Library and Chill, April 20

Join FAU Libraries for Library and Chill, a special event hosted at S.E. Wimberly Library and the Jupiter Campus Library on April 20. Designed to provide students with a relaxing and supportive environment as they approach the end of the spring semester, Library and Chill will offer a full itinerary of activities, games, and events.

 

FAU Libraries are proud to host the AWS User Groups of Florida April Meetup. Held on Thursday, April 13, at 5,30 p.m. at the Rubin Gruber Sandbox, the event is open to the FAU students and staff and the local community. Free Parking is available in Garage 1 on Volusia St. Food & Beverages will be available at 5:30 PM, and the speaker will start at 6:00 PM.
