Jaffe Center for Book Arts presents Marginalia, a new exhibit of books and prints from the collection. The exhibition includes works by Islam Aly, Julia Arredondo, John Ashbery, Ben Blount, John Eric Broaddus, and others. Available through January, the exhibit is open Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

 

Starting Monday, Oct. 2, S.E. Wimberly Library will be open from 7:45 a.m. to 12 a.m. while Jupiter Campus Library will be open until 9 p.m., Sunday through Thursday. Our online services and resources are always available, even when the library is closed. Please visit our Lib2Go page to access all our online resources and services. As a reminder, our Ask a Librarian service is now available 24/7.

September 18 - 22 is designated as National PostDoc Appreciation Week by the National Postdoctoral Association.  To support postdocs during their time at Florida Atlantic University, the Libraries, Division of Research, and Postdoc Association are pleased to showcase their offerings and be a part of your postdoctoral success network.  Recommended for postdocs and graduate students.

 

New Library Exhibit. Documents of Democracy: Founding a New Nation

Interested in history? Want to celebrate Constitution Day? Stop by the Documents of Democracy: Founding a New Nation exhibit on the fifth floor of Wimberly Library, courtesy of Weiner Spirit of America Collection. All of the collection's highlights are on display: the Declaration of Independence, one of the seven 1776 copies of Common Sense, Articles of Confederation, first edition, and the first printing of Federalist Papers.

 

Letterpress Appreciation Day and Constitution Day

Constitution Day falls each year on September 17, and Letterpress Appreciation Day follows on the 18th. Come celebrate both this year at the Jaffe Center for Book Arts as we honor the First Amendment and the Freedom of the Press.

Join us on Sunday, September 17 & Monday, September 18, from noon to 4 p.m.
