Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Libraries are excited to announce the opportunity to hire multiple positions across several library departments to strengthen student, faculty and community engagement and to prepare the FAU Libraries for their crucial role in the University’s pursuit as a R1 institution. Aligning with the University, diversity and inclusion are core values of the FAU Libraries. The FAU Libraries seek:

  • A collaborative, innovative, and proactive Electronic Resources Librarian (at the rank of Assistant University Librarian) to manage the life cycle of the Libraries’ licensed and purchased electronic resources.  
     
  • A collaborative, innovative, and proactive Discovery Services and Metadata Librarian (at the rank of Assistant University Librarian) to catalog all general electronic resources.
     
  • Three proactive, enthusiastic, and creative Instruction & Engagement Librarians (at the rank of Assistant University Librarian) to interact with students, faculty, staff, and members of the public by providing access to the collection, offering instructional sessions, research assistance, and creating exhibits.
     
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, and creative Special Collections Librarian (at the rank of Assistant University Librarian) to interact with students, faculty, staff, and members of the public by providing access to the collection, offering instructional sessions, research assistance, and creating exhibits.
