FAU Libraries' New GIS Corner is Officially Open

The FAU Libraries are proud to announce that our new GIS Corner is officially open and ready for students to use!

The computers are located on the first floor west in the Alumni Alcove next to the Government Information and Maps office. You can’t miss them! They are behind blue panels.

Our GIS Corner has two computers equipped with GIS software that all FAU students have access to during library hours. We also have a graduate assistant available five days a week to help students use the software and answer questions. Those hours can be found here.

We know that not only our GIS students utilize this technology, but also other students studying geography, anthropology, civil engineering, biology, environmental science and urban planning. So, we are excited that none of our students have to leave the library in order to access the software or get the help they need.
